BBA Hospitality Operations & Management

Course Duration: 3 years

The curriculum is designed to understand the aspects of Hospitality Operations and Management in a pragmatic manner so that students retain it for their life time. With this degree, students can easily navigate the world of Hospitality industry or any other service sector and carve a highly respectable career. BBA in Hospitality Operations and Management with its thoughtful curriculum spreads over six semesters.

Year 1: The students are given an introduction to various skills of Hospitality Operations and Management in the first two semesters.

Year 2: In the third semester, the intensity increases to attain competency in Operations and Management. In the fourth semester, a mandatory industry internship is included in order to get experience of the real industry challenges.

Year 3: The fifth semester focuses on areas of specialization. The sixth semester focuses on Entrepreneurship in Hospitality and Business Management.

As part of the curriculum, engagement with the industry will be prioritized to take learning beyond the four walls of the campus. The program offers a judicious mix of education that delivers a balance between knowledge of Hospitality Operations required by the industry and the management expertise to apply the same into viable practices.

Personality development and leadership training is an ongoing part of the entire curriculum which develops the students into strategic thinkers with a well-balanced personality, poise, charm and the right attitude to enter any segment of the industry upon graduation.

Admission Process

Eligibility: The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination including International Baccalaureate. ANY STREAM- ARTS/COMMERCE/SCIENCE

Diploma (IB certificate & Diploma awarded) candidates are eligible only if they have cleared their IB exam with total of 24 credits compulsory having passed 3 HL & 3 SL mandatorily in any stream from a recognized Board and should have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks

•   List of Documents to be uploaded for to appear entrance test:

  1. Copy of duly filled online application form
  2. 10th mark sheet & passing certificate
  3. (10+2) or equivalent mark sheet and passing certificate (if application )
  4. ID proof (Passport / PAN / AADHAR / Driving License / Any other Govt ID)
  5. COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
  • Candidate’s application form will not be considered, if they fail to upload the above-mentioned documents till given timeline.
  • he link for the Entrance examination & personal interview will be mailed to your registered email id. The Interviews will be scheduled as per the important dates mentioned on the website.
  • The candidate must be available as per the mentioned time given in the call letter. Candidate should have desktop / laptop for taking the entrance examination with proper internet connection.

Entrance Test (Total Duration 60 minutes, Total 50 marks) – It would be Multiple - Choice test & descriptive type questions. (No negative marking)

Part-A (Multi-Choice Test)

  • Current Affairs & General Knowledge (20 questions, 20 marks)
  • Reasoning & Aptitudes (20 questions, 20 marks)
  • English Languages (10 questions, 10 marks)

Personal Interview (Total 50 marks)

  • Test Timings:
    • Entrance Test -   10.00 am onwards
    • Personal Interview - 12.00 noon onwards
  • Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the Written Test & Personal Interview.
  • Candidate’s entrance test and personal interview will be conducted on the allotted day only.
  • Merit list will be declared as per the dates given on the application page.
